    Barbara Ladon has been committed throughout her career to developing, implementing and improving access to quality healthcare services. Barbara’s expertise in Medicaid, CHIP, and other programs serving vulnerable populations has helped her clients improve their outreach and service while maintaining good stewardship over their resources.

    Barbara’s consulting practice focuses growth and driving value for national and regional health plans, hospital systems, provider-sponsored health plans, FQHCs, and post-acute care facilities. She leads Newpoint’s Payer/Provider Integration Service line with a concentration on health care reform, publicly funded programs, health insurance exchanges, accountable care organizations, and program evaluation.

    Ms. Ladon was the Director of Colorado’s CHIP program providing health insurance coverage to more than 55,000 members. She developed and managed contracts with health care delivery systems, HMO’s, and 1,000+ providers.

    In the private sector, she served as a corporate Vice President for United Healthcare in Minneapolis and implemented managed care options for Maryland Blue Cross. She was a principal owner of HealthPro, a care management and disability determination company providing services to more than 10 million Medicaid beneficiaries and public employees nationally. In three years, she quadrupled revenues and profits. Most recently, Barbara was Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of ArpegioHealth, a national healthcare management consulting firm focused on strategic growth and alignment for hospitals, provider groups and managed care organizations.

    Barbara has a BA from the George Washington University and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Virginia.
